On Final Fantasy Type-0 (zero shiki) Natsubi (demo)
...I haven't been writing in LJ for ages and I'm here now cause I need a space to throw my thoughts on a game. Yes, I know. I'm a genius. *gets bricked* XD;;
Erm but seriously, since I'm at it, might as well?
I actually have yet to try out Machina and Sice but I'm hooked with Ace at the moment so lemme be. *bricked again*
I like how each character have different abilities and fighting style. I know it's like Dissidia in a way but I don't know. I like Type-0 better? XD; I started playing with Ace first actually but since the tutorial, for some reason, just doesn't give me enough time to figure things out, and with Ace's super lousy HP (it's even LOWER than Rem! OMG!), he died pretty fast. XD;; Not to mention his Ability is different from the others. But through Queen and King, I start to get the hang of things and THEN only I figured out how to use Ace (sort of). First of all, Ace is seriously the type that avoids getting hit. The run and shoot style. At least, to me, that's how I avoid getting him killed. XD; And then in between, I'd have to Open Deck AND throw cards. The fun part to me is that Open Deck is random. You'd get recovery cards and attack cards randomly so you don't really know what you'll be throwing. Basically speaking, if possible, I would really like to master Ace. XD;; <-- totally biased.
King is the next best one that I like (at the moment). I think I feel safer to start shooting at the enemies when I can already see them from a distance. Plus his Ability can clean off enemies that got too near. I like &heart;.
Another thing I like about this game (compared to Dissidia?), is the Defense part. It seems that you can choose that too. If you'd prefer something that restores your HP or block or create magical wall (which I have yet to find out how it works) but what you can choose differs from character to character I think. But at least for Ace, he has all 3 above.
I know I always say this, but I should go to sleep now. XD; Tomorrow-er, more like today?, I want to try the mission/strategy stuff and see if I can survive this game or not...
