PACK GOAT!!!!

haha, sorry. i was just so excited XD
girasol looked really cartoon-y to me compared with the other things i've seen in your portfolio. i liked the crossbow dude, but it seems like a concept sketch...not sure if you wanted only polished things or also rough sketches to give people an idea of all the things you can do.

i know nothing about game cartography, so i won't try to critique that one because i have no idea how to.

in conclusion, PACK GOAT!!! <3

On the whole, lookin' good. a little pale, but if you're gonig for the game art/character commission look, it works. Like, seriously, you coudl sell chara commissions like that online. As always, your crtters look awesome. You should make sure to have a good reprentaton of those, both real critters, and imaginary ones. not everyone can draw a critter that looks like it could walk around in real life. faces have improved. see indvidual comments on devart.

oh yeah, and, what the heck's up with "lobster ball?" ;)

Lobster ball is like a gerbil ball but full of water for lobsters. A while ago Pat, D, Thar and I were talking about how the lobsters at hy-vee were depressed and needed to make a break for it. They would accomplish this through the cunning use of lobster balls. For Devart, I wanted a name that wasn't emo or Japa-cheesey. The only thing that came to mind was lobster ball. I suppose we could go with the other use of the word ball and dress up the lobsters in evening wear.

Pack goat = awesome.
I have to agree that Giorsol looks a little cartoony...I think most of that too me is in the torso. It just doesn't look very defined or something. For strict color critique alone I think the color on Giorsol and Ren are pretty well done. With Ren especially you can see where the light is playing off his armor and hair which is pretty good. And frankly I am a big fan of Blue so while it steals the show I like it:)

whoops I read backwards so obv. I don't need the link now that I've read this one.

Unfortunately, I will probably not have any good criticism. I don't really know anything about art, and I've never really noticed anything about your art that has ever made me go "hmmmmm" (I mean that in the C & C music factory sense--errr) there's something wrong.
