What's to stop us from getting a bunch of nerdly and artistic folk together and doing the whole game design thing on our own? Yes, it's a massive undertaking, but given the number of hours a week many of us spend playing games, why not convert some of that time into developing them? No, we aren't going to make millions overnight (or are we....?), but none of the people I can think of involving are struggling monetarily anyway.

Given Elita's chosen profession, you two won't be hurting for money. Unless the doctor's salary is as mythical as the professor's salary. ;)
