...childhood happening all over again
A minor mistake, but 'all over' should be separated.

Poor Zuko, poor Xiang.
I'm glad Zuko's using his childhood experiences to figure out ways to spare his daughter the pain of rejection that he felt.
Hopefully, Xiang's powers will be realised before the decision to remove her from the line of succession is finalised.

And yes, Zuko is definitely trying to use his own experiences to save his children that same pain. The situation is just different though so it's hard. I'm glad it didn't come off as Zuko looking down on his daughter or being harsh though. I tried to portray him as a loving father who is just a bit...awkward. =D

I meant this to be a oneshot, but it keeps poking my brain so there may very well be a follow up.
