Monday November 14th, Before school at the shoe cubbies

Hikaru kept her head down, a bit nervous at how people would react to the new hair cut. Jiro had said it looked good, but she was still nervous. Yumi stumbled back a bit, then heard a apology spill from the girls lips.

Yumi smiled, "Don't worry about it. It's not like I'm hurt or anything." She said.

"But, be careful next time you may not run into someone so nice. Like myself." She muttered the last part more to herself.

Hikaru blushed as she looked at Yumi. She gave the other girl a semi-shy, semi-embarrassed smile. "I will be more careful in the future. I'm glad you're not hurt."

"Name's Yumi Saito by the way, you know incase you haven't heard anything about me." She said a enthusiastically.

“I don’t think I’ve seen you before, have I?” She said looking the girl up and down trying to remember a name.

"I'm Tsukita Hikaru...I don't believe we've ever talked, though I think we might have a class or two the same..." Hikaru said softly, seeming a bit shy and reserved, but having a gentleness about her that overshadowed the shyness a bit.

"I've heard a few things about you....but most of what I've heard is too far fetched to believe it's true." Hikaru gave her a wry grin that came off as more 'cute' than anything else.

Haitani made it to his cubbies easily and opened it with a sigh. His dad was an ass and made him walk to school today, so Haitani felt miserable and was extremely tired from waking up early just to do it.

Amanda looked over at Haitani when she heard the sigh. Shoving her feet into the indoor shoes, she walked over and stared at him. "I'm Amanda. What's your name?"

Haitani jumped dropping his slippers in the process. Looking over he noticed Amanda before quickly staring down at the ground. "My name's Akamatsu Haitani." He replied softly.

"Want to be friends, Haitani-chan?" Amanda asked cheerfully, not seeming to find it an odd question at all. "Are you new? I havn't met you before."

Rika just shut the door after changing shoes before quickly heading down the hall. Anytime she spent in Yamazaki's class was well worth it.
