On the brightside, though, I finally made a breakthrough on my prospectus and it is most definitely going to be focused on Marxist theory and the rising consumerism of comic books. :)

S_d is, as always, s_d. Had someone post a rather questionable Superdictionary fanart earlier... Lex Luthor nude but for forty cakes is a sight that will be burned forever into my brain. *shudders*
People have also been scanning in a lot of older comics. There are a couple EC scans up, and a lot of golden age ones. Someone's also doing a series of posts of fairy tales in comic book form from Paradox Press. I get the feeling that Allerleirauh lost a bit in translation- the version I heard didn't end up with her marrying her own father (0_o)
In other news, Grant Morrison's Joker is creepy as fuck, and the rest wasn't half bad. It gives me hope for Batman RIP.
