A/N: This is the epilogue! :D Wow, this is the longest story I’ve ever written! If any of you were wondering, I do write out all my stories by hand in a notebook (meaning I spent forever just writing this), and that explains why my fics/chapters are so short… /sigh. Happy endings really are wonderful, after all. ♥ Thank you to all of you who have been so supportive! Cookies go out to those of you (you know who you are!) ♥

~June, 2020~
“Junghwa! Don’t run there!” Her mother scolds. The child stops and turns around, running back to her mother.
“But, umma…” Junghwa whines. Cho Hyun-ah shakes her head.
“No! It’s dangerous.” Hyun-ah says adamantly. “Go play with Eunhee and Soomi, okay?” Junghwa sighs explosively, tugging on her mother’s shirt to kiss her on the cheek. Junghwa turns to kiss Seunghyun as well, her baby brother. Hyun-ah sighs quietly as Junghwa scampers off to play with her cousin and best friend.
Arms wrap around her waist, and she leans into the embrace. “Hey there,” He whispers, and Hyun-ah smiles, “How’s my baby girl?”
“Tired, but alive,” Hyun-ah laughs, kissing her son’s cheek.
“And what about my baby boy? Who’s actually a baby, unlike my girl,” He teases, and Hyun-ah smacks him lightly.
“Our baby boy is doing just fine, and Junghwa is running around quite energetically.” Hyun-ah says tenderly.
“Good…” He murmurs, nuzzling her neck.
“And you, Kyu?”
“Today was good. There’s a soccer game today, want to watch?” Cho Kyuhyun says. Hyun-ah shrugs.
“Sure, why don’t you go tell all of them?” She smiles, taking a seat on the bench and buckling Seunghyun into his stroller.
“Okay, they’re all getting ready now.” Kyuhyun says when he comes back, holding a quiet Junghwa’s hand. “You’re a big girl, right? You can walk with appa.” This part is directed at Junghwa, who nods eagerly.
“Yes! Are we going to watch Uncle Hae’s soccer game?” Junghwa asks.
“Yes, we are.” Hyun-ah smiles, getting up. The family starts walking the 5 blocks to the soccer field.
--
“Kyuhyun! Hyun-ah! You came!” Donghae cries excitedly.
“Uncle Hae!” Junghwa shouts, flying into his arms. Donghae picks her up and spins her around.
“Hey, Junghwa! Do you want to play soccer when you grow up?” Donghae grins. Junghwa nods enthusiastically.
Hyun-ah laughs. “Kyu, where does she get this love of sports?” Kyuhyun shrugs.
“That… is an excellent question.” He sighs.
“A-Auntie…” A small hand tugs on Hyun-ah’s shirt. Hyun-ah looks down to see Eunhee.
“Hi, Eunhee! What’s wrong?” Hyun-ah asks, picking up the little girl and cuddling her.
“I can’t find umma and appa…” Eunhee whimpers.
“It’s alright, I’ll call them. And you have auntie, uncle, and Junghwa, right?” Hyun-ah says gently, and Eunhee nods. “Junghwa’s down there with Donghae and Hyukjae. Oh, Soomi’s there too now.”
“Okay…” Eunhee says, dashing off to find her cousin and best friend. Hyun-ah pulls out her cell phone and dials the familiar number.
“Yeoboseyo?” A friendly voice says.
“Jay! Your daughter has been looking for you.” Hyun-ah says. “Where are you?”
“Um, we’re at the concession stand. I thought I told Eunhee to wait there…” Park Jaebeom sighs.
“Alright, well, she’s with Junghwa and Soomi now.” Hyun-ah says. “What about Taec?”
“He’s here too. We’ll be there in a few minutes.”
“Junghwa will be happy. She feels she doesn’t see enough of her favorite uncle.” Hyun-ah laughs.
--
“Umma! Appa!” Little Soomi scampers up to her parents. Lee Jaekyung smiles down at the five year old, and Sungmin pulls Soomi into his lap.
“Don’t want to watch the game anymore?” Sungmin laughs. Soomi shakes her head.
“No, no! It’s not that! Where’s uncle… R-Ryeowook and uncle Jongwoon?” Soomi asks, stuttering slightly over Ryeowook’s name.
“They’re with auntie Hyun-ah and uncle Kyuhyun.” Jaekyung points in their direction. Immediately, Soomi runs off that way.
--
“Seunghyunnie!” Soomi squeals, cooing at the gurgling baby.
“Hey, Soomi! What are you doing here?” Ryeowook says in a friendly tone, voice just as high as ever.
“Teach me how to sing?” She begs of the three top vocalists. Kyuhyun laughs.
“Okay, let’s hear you sing something first.” Jongwoon smiles, voice still husky.
--
“Henry, I think I see Hyun-ah…” Miyoung says uncertainly, pointing in the direction of a group of adults, with some children in the center. Henry looks intently in the direction she is pointing in.
“Oh! You’re right, that’s Kyuhyun hyung, Hyun-ah, Ryeowook hyung, and Jongwoon hyung.” Henry smiles.
“I don’t think they know that we came back from Toronto.” Miyoung laughs, pushing Henry in their direction.
--
They gather in the Cho family’s house after the game. It has been 7 years since they disbanded, and everyone has simply settled down, in one way or another. Jungsu, by this time, is already 37, and lives with Youngwoon.
Siwon and Han Geng live together, as do Jongwoon and Ryeowook. Hyukjae and Donghae got together about 6 months after their disbandment, to the relief of everyone else. Sungmin and Jaekyung got married immediately after Sungmin returned from the army, and their daughter, Soomi, is 5 years old. Jaebeom and Eunjae, much like Sungmin and Jaekyung, got married after Jaebeom returned from the army. Eunhee is the youngest of the three girls, at age 4. Zhou Mi, Kibum and Heechul remained single, choosing to live together in a townhouse. Shindong and Nari have 3 children, and they live about 2 hours away from Seoul. Henry and Miyoung were married 2 years ago, and live in Toronto with Henry’s parents.
Kyuhyun and Hyun-ah have been married for 8 years now, and Junghwa is not quite 7. When Kyuhyun left for the army, Han Geng was the one who kept Hyun-ah constant company for 2 years, and their familial relationship grew stronger when Hyun-ah found out that she was pregnant. Han Geng helped her through those 9 months, and took care of her after Junghwa was born. When Kyuhyun came back, Han Geng moved into Siwon’s home, who had also recently returned from the army. Seunghyun, Kyuhyun and Hyun-ah’s young son, is not yet a year old. Junghwa and Seunghyun have almost a 6 year difference in between their ages, but Junghwa loves her baby brother so much.
--
Hyun-ah sits on the couch, holding baby Seunghyun and listening to the cheerful chatter through the room. Kyuhyun sits down next to her, kissing her quickly on the lips.
“I’m so glad everyone’s happy.” Hyun-ah says softly, and Kyuhyun hugs her.
“I’m glad you’re with me, and that you’ve given me such a beautiful family.” Kyuhyun says sincerely.
Hyun-ah laughs. “You’re so cliché, Kyu. But… I love you, I really do.”
Kyuhyun embraces her tightly. “As I love you.”
Fin (for real this time!).
