~October, 2006~

"Umma! Leeteuk umma!" Hyun-Ah called from the hallway.

"In here, Hyunnie!" Leeteuk called from the kitchen. Hyunnie seemed to have stuck, Hyun-Ah mused as she darted to the kitchen.

"Umma, can I go visit my oppa?" Hyun-Ah asked. Leeteuk looked puzzled.

"Oppa? Who would that be?" Leeteuk asked, curious.

"He got accepted into JYP Entertainment recently. Park Jaebeom!" Hyun-Ah announced proudly. Leeteuk smiled at Hyun-Ah's innocent childishness.

"Where is he right now?" Leeteuk questioned. Hyun-Ah pondered this.

"I think he's on an island, filming a show. I'll ask for permission!" Hyun-Ah decided.

Leeteuk nodded in approval. "Take Kyuhyunnie and Hankyung with you." Han Geng was commonly known as Hankyung in Korea, because Han Geng was just too hard for Koreans to pronounce. Super Junior themselves often switched between called him Han Geng and Hankyung, depending on which first came to mind.

"Okay!" Hyun-Ah said happily, immediately beginning the search.

--

They had set out early the next day, taking a boat to the island where the show was being filmed.

"I haven't seen Jay in a long time..." Hyun-Ah sighed unhappily. She was tucked under Kyuhyun's arm, and she snuggled into his side, making a sound of contentment.

"How long has it been?" Han Geng asked. Hyun-Ah thought for a moment.

"Well, I last saw him when I was 13, so it's been 3 years." She said sadly. Kyuhyun kissed the top of her head and Hyun-Ah smiled.

"We're here!" Han Geng announced. Hyun-Ah nervously stepped off the boat onto the island, Kyuhyun and Han Geng following close behind.

Hyun-Ah walked up to the door, opening it silently. The door was unlocked since the trainers knew she was visiting today. She slipped into the house, Kyuhyun and Han Geng right behind her. There were some teenagers (they were in their late teens) relaxing in the living room, joking around. They fell silent as they saw the newcomers.

"Who...?" One of them started. Hyun-Ah put a finger to her lips, warning them to be silent.

"Do you know where Park Jaebeom is?" she whispered. They nodded, gesturing upstairs.

"He's in the bedroom. Second door on the right." one of the boys whispered back.

"Thank you!" Hyun-Ah flashed them a smile, disappearing up the stairwell. Kyuhyun and Han Geng were just left there, standing awkwardly.

After an awkward, silent pause, one of the boys offered, "You can sit here if you want...you're from Super Junior, aren't you?"

--

Park Jaebeom sat at the lone desk in the bedroom, writing a letter to his younger sister. He was thinking about what else could be written when an unexpected voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Jay." It was said in English, but that wouldn't have surprised him. After all, Taecyeon and Nichkhun often spoke English with him. It was a girl's voice. There weren't any girls on this island! Not only that, but it sounded like his sister.

Jaebeom sighed. "I must be hearing things." He said to himself in English.

Arms wrapped around his shoulders, a whisper sounding in his ears. "You aren't, Jay."

"Kels?" Jaebeom said disbelievingly. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to visit you! Can't I visit my own brother?" she beamed. Jaebeom turned around, surveying his 16 year old sister. She had changed over the past three years. Sure, he had seen her in magazines and a couple of movies, but that couldn't compare to seeing her in person. Her dark hair reached midway down her back, red streaking through it, and her dark grey eyes sparkled with amusement. She was wearing very little makeup today, just a little bit of eyeliner.

"I missed you, Kels." Jaebeom said, pulling her into a hug.

"Yeah, I missed you too, Jay." she said, hugging him back, then beginning to lead him back downstairs.

--

"Found him!" Hyun-Ah announced triumphantly, Jaebeom trailing behind her.

"Hyung, why didn't you say anything else about your sister?" one boy asked.

"I'll introduce all of you now, Taec. Can you call everyone else into the room?" Jaebeom said, sighing. Taec stood up (Wow, he's tall...) and went to gather everyone.

Once everyone was gathered together, the room was very full. Sixteen people were squeezed into the living room, with Jaebeom, Hyun-Ah, Hankyung, and Kyuhyun at the front.

Hyun-Ah smiled and bowed. "Annyeong! I'm Park Hyun-Ah, and I'm Jaebeom's sister."

It was Kyuhyun's turn. "Cho Kyuhyun, I'm the magnae of Super Junior." He bowed.

Hankyung spoke in barely accented Korean. "Han Geng or Hankyung. I'm the Chinese member of Super Junior."

"Jang Wooyoung." a boy with a baby face said.

"Ok Taecyeon." Taec said, revealing his full name.

"Lee Junho." This boy looked strangely like Rain.

"Jo Kwon." He had a fairly feminine face, kind of like Sungmin or Ryeowook. They went around the circle, and the other eight introduced themselves. After everyone had been introduced, Hyun-Ah, Kyuhyun, and Hankyung were bombarded with questions.

"Are you the actress and model from SM?" Wooyoung asked curiously. Hyun-Ah nodded, smiling.

"What's it like, debuting?" Junsu asked, this question directed at Kyuhyun and Hankyung.

"It's pretty scary." Kyuhyun admitted.

"But it's also lots of fun." Hankyung said happily.

~April, 2007~

"Impossible..." Hyun-Ah whispers desperately. sinking to her knees, eyes still glued to the TV. A sickeningly familiar car displays on the screen. It is flipped on its side, destroyed. That's still okay, at least until she sees the man on the stretcher, until she hears what he is saying.

And then, she screams.
