Failure #1
"Hey, Taec. Don't you think that girl is cute?" Jaebeom says, pointing at a long-haired girl. Taecyeon looks at him weirdly.
"Jay, what…? You do know I'm dating her sister, right?" He says. Jaebeom looks at him with huge eyes.
"…What?" He squeaks.

Failure #2
"I'm going to introduce myself to her!" Jaebeom announces proudly. Taecyeon shrugs.
"Have fun." He says, turning the page of his manga. Jaebeom saunters over, attempting to appear suave.
"Hi there," He says once he reaches her. "I'm -"
He trips and promptly falls flat on his face.

Failure #3
Quiet giggles float around and his face flushes red with embarrassment. A hand stretches down to help him up, and he takes it gratefully, deciding to press a light kiss to the fingertips. Immediately, the hand is yanked away.
"Jay!" A familiar voice complains. Jaebeom looks up into the face of his younger sister.
"Oh. Sorry, Kels." He says in English, now thoroughly embarrassed.

Failure #4
"Um…" A timid voice breaks through Jaebeom's daze. Jaebeom snaps his head up abruptly.
"Yes?" He says, realizing that it is the girl he has been trying to talk to.
"Are you okay?" She asks quietly.
"Yes, thank you, um…" Jaebeom realizes that he doesn't know her name.
"Kim Eunjae." She whispers. Jaebeom smiles.
"I'm Park Jaebeom." He says.
"I know, Hyun-Ah told me." Eunjae says, smiling faintly. Jaebeom's heart sinks as he imagines what Hyun-Ah may have told Eunjae.
"Oh…" He says, clearly disheartened.
"Um… Jaebeom ssi, are you sure you're alright? There's blood on your face."
Oh. Fail.

Failure #5
"Eunjae, would you like to go out for dinner on Friday?" Jaebeom asks a few days later, while she is in the midst of all her friends. Well, you have to admire his courage. Taecyeon is there too with his girlfriend, Junghwa, holding her hand. Hyun-Ah is holding hands with a somewhat familiar boy, and the four of them share a look and laugh. Eunjae giggles awkwardly.
"Um… I'm -" She starts to say, but Hyun-Ah interrupts, looking amused.
"She's occupied." Hyun-Ah says, hooking an arm around Eunjae and pulling her back. "We're going out for dinner on Friday."
"Oh… oops." Jaebeom flushes.

Jaebeom pulls Eunjae aside, flushing red and stuttering.
"Um… Eunjae…" He says nervously. Eunjae looks puzzled.
"Yes, oppa…?" She questions.
"I… r-really like you…" He stutters. Eunjae looks taken aback.
"Is this what you wanted to say?" Eunjae asks. Jaebeom nods dumbly. Eunjae sighs. "And is this why you tried all that silly stuff?"
"Um… yes?"
"You're so silly, oppa."
