Heh, so much pressure now, the whole rest of your year? XD The polls keep on changing and Missouri seems to be going the opposite way now, but it looks like Obama is pulling ahead in North Carolina.
Obama will be speaking here today downtown. I drove past the site on my way to class. It made me wish I could go, but I don't want to miss lecture....that must make me sound really old farty or something right now. Anyway I'm hoping that after this visit we might get some updated poll information on Indiana.
Looks like McCain is down in Florida again, I just hope he doesn't take anything away from Obama's lead there because Florida has 27 electoral votes, and I consider that to be a pretty decent sum. I think that's like the 4th largest in electoral votes.
It will make the rest of my year--at least! However, I'm not breaking out the champagne unless Obama starts leading by 20 percentage points. There's been too much outright mischief on election night to make me comfortable with anything less than that. In fact, I've got a bottle of absinthe close by, if things go down the tubes again.
Their sampling was small, but the University of Wisconsin is quite credible, and their polls aren't too far off from CNN's polls save for Indiana, but then again CNN hasn't polled here since Oct 3-6, and polls after that date conducted by local media say the race is tightening.
Anyway all us Democrats here in Indy say that if Obama can turn Indiana blue on election day, then it is a done deal, he's going to win the election. So if you are watching the news and you see us go blue, then you can commence the celebration! :3
