I put out the garbage, and in the sky, was the coolest thing.

It looks like a cloud exploded, and its in this huge, exploded shape....and thin..and stars are everywhere.

No seriously, it looks like something exploded far far away in space...

and I feel lucky to see it.

Those were the northern lights! Brightest they've been down here in many many years.

This is the second entry in five minutes I've read about odd things in the sky. And Paul and I saw two falling stars last night. Though he was convinced they were something else because they were so big and slow... but he's just paranoid like that. :p

Yah...it *was* the Northern Lights...and I know Amy, you may have seen them??maybe? I dunno if the states get em. But! It lasted ALL night, and it was AWESOME...ripples, and changes, and bright and green...and I WAS lucky to see it, and I feel more humble and aware!!!!!!!!!
