This was great. Its scattershot fun and slapstick energy was a delight. Merlin running from his spur of the moment actions, hiding about the castle had me laughing and I loved Gwen and Morgana's pointed pushing.

This is wonderful: Merlin’s hand is over his mouth and his eyes are wide, like it’s the first time he’s heard the news as well. I could see his expression and then Gwen's spit-take had me laughing even more.

Arthur returning the heart felt, though impromptu emotions was delightful. This was a confection. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much! So glad you enjoyed ^^ I made sure to always be able to picture Merlin doing/saying whatever I was writing, and I always kept his voice strong in my head to make sure it sounded right - glad to know it paid off :)

This is great! I love Merlin freaking out and confiding in Gwen, and then Gwen and Morgana tormenting Merlin, lol. I love the babbling declarations at the end...oh boys and their feelings!

I agree that the level of writing in the Merlin fandom is some of the best I've read. You will fit in perfectly! I will be watching for more from you :D

Oh thank you so much, you have no idea how wonderful that is to hear - I'd been umming and aah-ing about writing anything here because there's just so much goodness to go round already - glad I did though :) There's a few more in the works, so hopefully I'll start churning them out on the holidays.
