CHOPPER LOVES BOATMOM even though I have taken forever threading with Robin so far. I WILL FIX THIS.
but good gosh the minimom thread ended up cute. It's super strange seeing the older crew as kids though, even more so with Robin and Zoro because they're so... uh, steady most of the time to him, for lack of a better word. Robin as a little girl is definitely not all that steady and Chopper knows that there is massive amounts of trauma under there somewhere and he doesn't want to poke anything painful by accident. It's especially unsettling to see her face get sad so easily. But that means making her smile is even more awesome, and it makes him happy that she can relax around him so soon after they've just met. I mean, it totally doesn't, ya bastard.
...uh, I don't know. chopper loev captain. He's so relieved that all of the crew ended up safe and together in camp, but Luffy's presence in particular means that things are really okay. And that possibly their landing in Camp was just the way things were supposed to go, even if timelines and memories are fucked. But Luffy and the others having been here a year already does freak him out kind of a lot. It makes him feel somewhat guilty that he arrived so late/last out of everyone, and that he wasn't there to take care of the crew's injuries during trauma times. He definitely knows that Luffy can't and won't blame him for that, though.
And despite Chopper's concerns about when/how they're all going to get back to the Grand Line, he trusts that whatever Luffy decides to do regarding is going to work out somehow. IT WILL, RIGHT?
The single real thread we've had so far is adorable! You gave him a friendship bracelet and you have a cool fort and you're going to make him ice cream. Chopper loves Vanya forever. The fact that the crew adores her means that she's automatically his friend too, but he'd want to anyways because she's sweet and generous and obviously knows what is beautiful in life if she has a fort. Even if she's a little weird about some things. HE DOESN'T WANT COMPLIMENT TRAINING but he's going to make you some cotton candy, dammit. Being big bro is new to him, but he's excited about it and he definitely wants to get to know her better.
Cesare as a kid was confusing as hell, if only because Chopper was confused as hell as it was already. Cute, though.
Regular Cesare is so intriguing to Chopper right now. There has been so much agefuckery around Chopper since his arrival in Camp so he still isn't sure how old Cesare's supposed to be, but he hopes that whatever it is Cesare will still remember him. Chopper's really enjoying himself with learning Italian at the moment, but he's also quite curious to actually understand Cesare and ask him about himself and what his world is like. Chopper doesn't know a whole lot about Cesare at all as of yet, but he likes what he's seen so far! Cesare's interesting and patient and he plays along with dumb reindeer antics like a champ. :|b
Yuusuke, my man. We played in the leaves. It was adorable. We should thread again.
Chopper's always happy whenever he finds someone willing to throw themselves into playing with him like that. Even though Yuusuke's not a little kid he's still okay with acting like one for a while and that's cool. He's nice, and Chopper likes him! A+, would talk again.
