Character Info:
Name: Iori Minase
Age: 15
Canon: The Idolm@ster
Pull Point: End of anime

Background Info:
History: Character and canon
Personality: On the outside, Iori is quite the charming little lady. She is sweet and demure, and exudes the welcoming personality that the leader of an idol group should. She plays the part of the lovely leading lady well, supporting the other two members of Ryuuguu Komachi and doing her part to make sure that the group is a success, all the while being extremely cute in front of the camera and around anyone she does not know too well. She urges her fans to cheer them (and her) on, and is an absolute gem to have around.

Too bad the whole thing is a rouse.

In actuality, Iori is a spoiled brat, taking the role of the tsundere very seriously. She is extremely selfish, quick to anger, and loves to play pranks on other just to get a rise out of them. Don't try to do the same to her, however, because that won't go well. She is quick to anger when people don't do exactly what she wants of them, going so far as to punish them for their transgressions. She also has the nasty habit of talking back, even to authority figures (especially the producer, who she usually views as absolutely useless) with the exception of Ritsuko, if only because she fights back a lot harder than Iori ever could. She tends to take other people's flaws and throws them back in their faces when in a serious fight, but of course Iori-chan could do no wrong~

Well, that is mostly true. There is the matter of her father and her older brothers. Ah, family. An interesting situation with Iori. To say that she has a bit of a complex is not too much of an over-exaggeration. Both brothers are off doing good things, and the fact that her father is friends with the president of 765 Productions may be one of the reasons that she works with them in the first place is a bit of a sore spot for her. While she seems like she wants people to do things for her, Iori really does want something of her own, to be able to do something that she can be proud of, and step outside of the shadow of her father and older brothers.

Iori is also extremely observant, and, while she usually uses it for the forces of evil, is fairly empathetic to the people around her. While she has said that she cannot understand people less fortunate than she is, that could be the furthest from the truth. However, just because she can understand people's motivations does not mean that she always knows how to act around them. Iori is not the most in-touch with her feelings, and when she is unsure she tends to push away. Hard. Before becoming an idol, she was a fairly lonely person, but having friends in 765 has really helped her become a bit more social, and even if she doesn't seem like she likes someone, fighting with them and playing tricks on them are her way of showing that she really does care.

Game Specific:
Arcana: The Magician
Justification: Iori is a girl that knows what she wants, and will go to great feats in order to get it. The girl exudes confidence, but can come off extremely strong and has the habit of playing pranks. There are times as well that she has a hard time looking at things from other people's points of view, usually due to her upbringing. She can be seen as immature and at times downright mean, saying that she will "punish" anyone that won't listen or do what she wants. Being elected as the leader of Ryuugu Komachi has definitely matured her, but she still has a way to go...
