Brief is just so precious. Kiyoha is terribly endeared to him and his weird name, stuttering and devotion to some slut named Panty. It's absolutely adorable and she really enjoys talking to him and teasing him. Both are entertaining. She also promised to tell Brief the house Panty's living in just because.

Cornelia and Kiyoha hate each other. Every time they have the chance, they make each others life miserable in increasingly sadistic ways. It began escalating with the chocolates curse that made Kiyoha's personality switch to mild and timid, which Kiyoha responded to during the master/slave event by making Cornelia degrade herself. While Kiyoha watched and laughed in her face. Now they're moving on to destroy each others personal relationships. One flower isn't enough to express the hate!

Kiyoha has probably never made a friendship/partnership so quickly in her life. Their partership ended up being one of conveience, but Kiyoha is genuinely fond of her apprentice. He's obviously very bright, and she finds his ideas of "equivalent exchange" curious because it's just not something she can understand. They help each other out in the practical annoyances of each other's situtations, so for that, Kiyoha respects and values Edward quite a bit.

A bad temper is hardly off-putting to Kiyoha, since she tends to overestimate how she handles situations anyways. They're not really on friendly terms, but Kiyoha does follow his network posts out of morbid interest.

Kisame is hopelessly sweet. Kiyoha really enjoy his kindness and gentle words despite his outward appearance, as odd as it is. And speaking of, Kiyoha's shallowness is evident here, since she's secretly afraid of being seen with him, though she's perfectly polite and friendly to him. Regardless, she regards him as a friend and always welcomes his advice and tries to give hers when she can.

Ishtar reminds Kiyoha of her younger self. She's rebellious and feisty, which Kiyoha does appreciate, but she'll criticize Ishtar on those qualities because they only cause pain for an apprentice. She doesn't seem to be one, luckily, but it won't stop Kiyoha. She also doesn't think for a moment that Ishtar is royalty by the way she carries herself.

Kiyoha thought Japan was completely crazy until he claimed that Turkey was also a personified country. She quite likes Turkey, so she sort of came to terms with maybe in some crazy place, countries could have people like gods that represent them. She's slightly respectful to him for that reason, but as a person, he seems like a soft-spoken and kind person. It doesn't match her perception of Japan, but she likes it better that way.

Kiyoha is quite fond of Kallen! She's quite glad for Kallen's independence and identifies with her rebellion, though Kiyoha's hopes for rebelling were ultimately crushed. She sees herself in Kallen, and even though they're actually pretty close in age, she likes to think of herself as looking out for her when she can. She's one of the few girls that Kiyoha would buy things (and expensive things) for. Oh, and she ships Kallen and Lelouch.

Kiyoha isn't used to any sort of kindness from other women that isn't preceded by violence or harsh words, so Lenalee is a breath of fresh air in comparison. The fact that she made a kanzashi for Kiyoha so shortly after meeting her really touched Kiyoha, and if she ever got it (idk lol), then she would wear it quite often in Lenalee's honor. She's quite fond of her, to the point that is Lenalee were an apprentice, Kiyoha would take her under her wing. However, since Lenalee left, Kiyoha treasures the kanzashi that she made.

And she's discreetly cares enough about him to give him hints on how to make the job easier and bargain his way out of it more quickly. That's a lot for Kiyoha.

Neil, formerly Lockon, is a special person to Kiyoha. In a way, he's the Seiji of this ukiyo, because he's a close male friend that she can confide all of secrets and anguishes to. His optimism has particularly affected her, and he's probably responsible for her new-found optimism for being here rather than Yoshiwara. Kiyoha is definitely attracted to him, but she's also quietly sort-of-in-love with him. And by "quietly," I mean that she won't admit it or allow herself to be in love because of all of her issues surrounding the subject. So she'll never bring it up.

They also are getting into the habit of sharing their pains and secrets with each other, though Kiyoha doesn't consider what she says that secretive. It's part of her enigma! As a part of the curse that made them fall in love with each other, Kiyoha grew extremely bitter and avoided him, but once he left, she felt guilt for her actions.
