French and English today. Not a very good combination. Fucking deadly. End of story.

Got any recomendations for how to learn french in three weeks? Book recs anything? That's the one language I've really nev er bothered with and just found out its the one I need this summer, so was hoping you might have a suggestion since you obviously are MUCH more able to speak the language than I can.

French in three weeks? You're either very confidant of yourself or just plain insane.

Either way, there are some books I have and audio tapes that'll be pretty beneficial. But it just depends on what way you're better at in picking up languages. By reading or listening, I mean.

Actually, I have on good authority I am both. And I've learned languages both ways but lisening is easier since I'm used to just be thrown in to places and needing to pick up the language to get food and stuff.

Wish I was going someplace nice like France though. Any suggestions much appreciated.

Well, like I said, I have audio tapes and some handbooks. If you like, I could lend them to you since my French finals are over.
