AFA'09 x TQP.

Anyways, now that the pre-orders are already sent out and AFA'09 is over and done with, I (Idako) has the report right here! :3

The eve of AFA'09.
I was prepared with our two posters (one for the wall, and one for the table), and our prints were all packed and labelled.
The VOCALOIDS chibi bookmarks.
The VOCALOIDS regular bookmarks.
And the limited edition VOCALOID POLAROID and KyouKaku prints. ♥
I packed them away in their boxes and into my bag. It would make things easier for Saturday morning. So I headed for the event location, Suntec City Convention Centre, to meet up with the The MAGE Shop's owner to help with the booth set-up. Woddee came after work to help out too.
After setting up, and admitting that our stomachs were too hungry to carry on, we left for dinner at Pepper Lunch. Nom nom nom. :3
I got the table cloths for the booth - what a bright and blinding colour. @__@ xD;;

Woke up early to dress up. xD I wanted to cosplay, but the prints took priority, and so I settled with just dressing up for the occassion. But in the end, we were all still late - me, Woddee, and angelus shared a cab there. xD;;
Once we got there, though, it was BUSYBUSYBUSY, and wow, just, kept sellingsellingselling.
I smiled a lot, which is rare. OTL;;;;;; But I was genuinely happy that it was so far, so good. Had late lunch, and just after I finished my last bite of McChicken (from Mac's lol), my mom and sis called, saying they were outside waiting for me to bring them in. That was about 5-ish pm already. o___o Time really flies.
So I went out and went in again with them, and showed them my booth.
They were proud of me..? :'D

Yeah, my mom and sis helped out quite a bit, especially for the packaging and labelling. I handled the rest myself, though. From printing, to cutting, to packing. *so proud* OTL;;
There's angelusraptor, our runner/waiter/helper for the event. 8D!!!! He doesn't like taking photos if he can help it.
There's Ken, always photo-ready as usual. LOL.
Then my sis helped me snag some photos when she and my mom walked around the event.
Harumika booth. Pretty doll outfits.
I WANT ONE OF THESE SO BADDDDD D8 Especially the crepe-maker. It looks so fun, and makes real food! I totally am a sucker for these things. Hurhur.
And then, not long after the I♥Anisong concert started, and so the crowd naturally thinned out. I ended the day worrying if I had enough stocks for Day 2. LOL. Had dinner at Secret Recipe's cos I was too hungry to think about going home first.

The crowd passing by the booth was considerably less than Saturday's, so I guess I worried over nothing. But then again, the chibi bookmarks started selling out, so I put up a sign to offer pre-orders. :3
I also got the opportunity to walk around myself, and take in the experience. Prepare yourselves for my picspam. 8D
Uh, I'm selling VOCALOIDS, so what other pics would I go for first? xD;; Miku and the twinsss.
I find it interesting that the figurines has movable joints. xD;;
I SPOTTED THESE. AND JUST WENT ALL "SQUEEEEEEEEEE!" COS I WANT THEM TOO! D8 HOW CAN I RESIST THE ADORABILITYYYYYY??? ♥

If I can't get the set, I'll just be happy with this. KAITOOOOOOO~ ♥
After gleefully staring/hogging the camera space, I slinked to the stage area.
And these huge-ass event balloons just loomed in the audience area. xD;;
So after checking out everywhere, I went back to my booth. Sales was slow, but I'm happy, which is my main objective. ^^~
AND THEN MAKOTO SHISHIO FROM RUROUNI KENSHIN DROPPED BY and I just HAD to take his picture. His cosplay was just PERFECT! *A*bbbb The funny thing is, Woddee saw him first earlier that morning, and then he walked past our booth, but he wasn't wearing his mask, and we all went "OMG CAN HAZ PEEKTURE PLZ?". That totally must've scared him. OTL;; But we told him that he could please come back when he puts the mask back on, cos we really want a picture of him. so that's how I got this picture. xD!! He was a nice guy, actually, even though he didn't talk much, but I seriously think that his cosplay was excellent. Makes me remember the good ol' times when I watched Rurouni Kenshin. :3
Look! Road from D.Gray-man! xD Her cosplay caught my eye, and she dropped by my booth. I got braver with asking cosplayers if I could have their photo. xD I am actually shy/nervous. orz

The day wrapped up well, I just felt happy and satisfied and proud of TQP for having had a successful and fun time at AFA'09. Once I got home, I took pictures of my stash. 8Db

This is from Chocoholic Prints, and they're just the most interesting things ever. ♥ I even thought of how it'd be like to collaborate with them and sell TQP arts printed on these things. Which are edible, by the way. I haven't eaten mine cos I love it too much. OTL;;
UCC Coffee: Eva 2.0 print! *w*!!! I couldn't resist buying these, and although I'm not a coffee person, I really just wanted to collect the cans. LOL.

Asuka and Rei.
So far, I've opened the ones with Kaoru and Shinji. xD The coffee is actually nice, and for someone who doesn't really like coffee, I found these not too bad.
And that concludes AFA'09 x TQP. We are truly thankful for all the support and love we've received during this time, and we hope that our love for arts will inspire you! ^^~ As of now, we are unsure if we might be participating in other events in the future, but do keep a lookout for us! ♥
