I love taking pictures of signs. I'm weird, yeah I know. But I like it~ :) Some of them may seem like ordinary signs, but I just like... Like signs, you know? xD;;;
In a foreign land where English isn't the first language, signs are extremely useful things.. And maps. With both, you can never be lost. And if you do get lost, be like me, pluck up some courage and ask those cute guys approaching your way for directions. Who knows, they might lead you to your destination personally (which actually happened to me!!). Remember to be careful, though! :D
Lucky for me, I only got lost once, and even then, I only lost my bearings. Other than that, the numerous amount of maps around Seoul always helped me and guided me along the way.
Touch screen maps after you get off from your train. For the last minute tourist or just anyone who's curious what's above ground.
A map carved on the floor.. I thought these were cracks on the pavement until I got nearer..
ALL their vehicles come with GPS. This is how it looks like in a Jeju taxi. It's also useful in warning for road speed limits.
Other times, though, I simply love looking at signs~
Waiting for my airport bus to send me to my hotel.. That's the path all the stars cross to board flights out. I'm one of them. 8D;;
Shopping in empty Myeongdong in the morning is the best - you can take your time. You also feel your wallet getting lighter. xD!!
Oh yes, I was at Gimpo airport too. All the stars mingle with me~ *snickers*
I think this is postcard-worthy, Y/Y? 8D
They don't have to be in-your-face pictures of signs.. /wannabe artistic angle;;
A pity that not many people notices this on Namsan.. Glad I did! :)
Of course, I can't miss out the tourist-y, "taking photos of the foreign land's transportation" thing!
I had the opportunity to take their local buses there~
These are far more accurate than Singapore's system!!
And last but not least, my favourite kind of "sign photos": random ones! xD
That sign isn't lopsided, it rotates 360 degrees. The weather was fine that day ♥
How, and what?
Yes, I don't know what to order for dinner... T^T
Or maybe I should have some gelao and coffee..? xD;;
This is why my grandmother keeps her garden~ :)
It's supposed to be smiling... But I don't/can't see it... :(
It reminded me of w-inds.' song of the same title. 8D
:)..!
...*giggles* "orang" means "person" in Malay, so "orang hair" can mean "hair person"... xD!!! Interestingly, this is the sign for a hairdresser's.
I also like to take pictures of exhibit signs.... /odd
What the book??
Basically, you now know that I'm a weird tourist. xD!!! I snap photos of signs, for goodness' sakes..! But honestly, I think that's better than taking tourist-y photos. ^^
The third batch of photos following up soon! :D
