Ah, yes. This came from a conversation with Christy (cubixism) in which she told me that there was some pain relief cream brand named Yoko-Yoko. Naturally, I made it blow up and "Yoko-Yoko" suddenly became the equivalent of horny/pervy. "STOP BEING YOKO-YOKO" is something Christy tells me a lot. It also represents my love for Yoko, hence why I've had "yoko-yoko" in my MSN nickname for nearly six months and "yoko-yoko" became my LJ tag for all things Yoko-related.

FANDOM SINCE I WAS A KID. I used to watch the animated series with my big brother, and when I was three, I secretly wore his Batman costume while he was at school. I slipped back into fandom (after anime stole my soul) when Batman Begins got out, but only went batshit crazy again when The Dark Knight got out. Will also lends me his Batman comics when we see each other and I write down quotes before giving them back and they magically appear here and there in my fic comm since Batman can be a big inluence in my writing.

Omg those guys *____* At first I only listened to a few songs, but I started looking into the band once I discovered Ohno through Maou. It was only around Christmas that I became a fan because of their zillion TV shows, and the first one I ever watched was GnA 17 (ARASHI AND SHOKKAZ), hence why it holds a special place in my heart. Arashi are usually the first band I listen to when I need cheering up/courage, and Aiba is my favourite because I'm attracted to idiot savants, but eveytime I dream about a member, it's always Sho.

I don't really remember how I got into NEWS as a band and not as Yamapi's band, but it feels like I've loved them forever ♥ I always refer to KAT-TUN as my ichiband because they're just that special to me, but I think/talk about NEWS way way waaaaaay more often. They're a much saner band with a better balance than KAT-TUN by far. And member-ai.

At first I only started reading KHR because I thought the idea of a fail Japanese mafia boss was really cool, then because of the lulz of the daily life arc, then -- simply because I couldn't stop reading. KHR made me realize that I was more into shounen manga than shoujo and got me back into manga fandoms. Since then, my favourite sites aside from LJ and Hotmail are OneManga and MangaFox. I look forward to Fridays the most simply because that's when Weekly Shounen Jump manga (especially Reborn!) get posted to OM. Also, I bullied two people on my flist into reading KHR because I wanted to fangirl about it to someone.

OTP. I've been shipping them for over a year and I don't think I'll ever get bored of them as long as I'm in fandom. They're just so perfect in my eyes and I was so happy over all the RT that surfaced during NWPD cons because they hadn't done anything really shippy in forever and gffblkgdlk I love them so much. I was really frustrated and sad when_likespunglasshad some sort of psycho breakdown that made her lock down all her stuff cause her fics are what made me get into RT, and I'd rec something she wrote, but no. So here's one of the only other good RT fics out there because the decent writers for this pairing are very, very few.
2. subaru/yasu
I think I'm going to just start off with the fic rec because it's just so amazing and I'm a little weak toward psychiatric hospital AUs (I blame it on Rainy, really), but really because I feel that it captures their relationship best. They're just, idk, I really love them and it's too hard to explain.
3. yoko/hina
hghohlsfg;lfsdfshiujkgdh♥ = how I feel about YokoHina. They're just so amazing aaah. And sort of angsty sometimes, but still really beautiful. They're always whining about each other in that I'm-not-annoyed-for-real way like some old married couple and I think it's incredibly cute. "He's like a cockroach" totally is love, okay, leave me alone :3 Here's one of the best YokoHina fics ever.

I only recently got into the, but really hard and fast *___* Idk what to say about them, really, I just love them hahahaha. And how they interact with each other. Jun acts like Aiba really annoys him but he just wants to hide how smittennnn he really is. Go read this.
5. koyama/shige
I think at leastdarkcupcakeswill agree with me on the fact that it's practically IMPOSSIBLE to imagine Shige without Koyama and Koyama without Shige. They're sort of like Sakuraiba in the sense that it's pretty much smart guy/airhead, and idk, they just make it work, both friendshippy IRL and romantically in fic. This is sad and heartbreaking but beautiful, and also the only KoyaShige fic I can think of at the moment HAHA.

For some reason I really got into this pairing as soon as I learned they were ~BFFs~, and even though they aren't quite as popular as, say, Akame, I love everything I can find. Especially junior pics which are gjdfbjkgbh cute. chibi!YokoAiba, for me, is like chibi!RyoPi for RyoPi shippers. I wish they'd appear together more often now :( Good Yoko/Aiba fic is pretty hard to find, but here's one posted yesterday that totally made my heart wibble.

I used to dislike Ryo/Uchi. A lot. I got into them mostly throughsaihara's fic because I'm just that weak and a sucker for her writing, and started shipping them against my own will. They're a good alternative to Ryo/Tego (for me) because I like smitten!Ryo and he's just as weak for Ryo and Uchi as I am for good writing. I'm pretty sure this fic is what really did it for me.
8. koichi/tsuyoshi
These two are apparently totally not compatible IRL, but it's so easy to ship themmm. Even Nakai does, and Tsuyoshi wants to babysit Koichi's children if he ever gets married. So whether it's only platonic or romantic, I think KouTsu are totally sweet *___* After all this time getting girls to wet their panties together they're as good as married now, anyway. And I have an unhealthy Tsuyoshi bias, so there. This is probably one of the most amazing KinKi (and JE altogether) fic ever written.
9. sho/aiba
I ship these two IRL more than in fic and that's why they're so low in the list, but there's something that just makes these two ~perfect~ for each other, maybe because they both fail so hard. And the idea of smart-but-fail-but-cool/slightly-stupid-but-genius is fun, imo. This totally made me fall in love.
10. yoko/kashii yu
I think anyone who's seen Yukan Club understands this because Seishiro/Noriko is ~TOTALLY CANON~. I've never written actual Seishiro/Noriko fic because I dislike writing in drama verses, but I've written Yoko/Kashii at least twice in AUs and have never gotten around to posting because A) I haven't finished them (IS ANYONE SURPRISED, REALLY) and B) I don't think fandom would care because I seem to be the only one who still ships this pairing since YC is over. And COME ON, IT'S YU/YU. ISN'T IT PERFECT. Here's a Seishiro/Noriko fic because it is so great.
