it's probably better than my original intentions of being gone all of senior year. we'd still have a whole month after i got back!

and, not to sound like a downer, but have you checked into that organization? There are a bunch of iffy things on the site... not super professional... have you looked around to other groups?

really? it seems a lot more professional than the company mari came abroad with and they were around for over 10years. what makes you think it's iffy? i wanna know if it is trustworthy indeed.

misspellings and such, and lack of in-depth information. i figured they'd have more information up there, since it's such a large chunk of cash involved. but if you find out otherwise, please tell me! it sounds very cool. and i like the idea of a Beijing trip =]

my mom is going to call them on monday and she's also going to call AFS, which has been around for 90years and is really trustworthy to see if they've heard of them. I really hope so because i haven't been this excited in a long time. I'll let ya know :P

i'm not going to lie...it sounds pretty exciting...but I don't want you to go! Like Hung said, it'll be our last summer together and I would miss you wayy too much if you went! ;)

it's just something i rlly want to do. i've only wanted this for the past 3years, and now i finally have the opportunity. we'll still have some time after i get back!

for some reason i keep imagining you walking around disneyland like a foot taller than everyone else with a mickey mouse hat. ghibli museum sounds really cool

hahaha ya, i'm excited! jeanine said she might go to japan this summer too and that we could totally explore town when i have free time...it'll be sooo fun!!

hahaha, really? that's great. we can so totally walk around harajuku and shibuya and stare at all the crazily dressed people. it'll be awesome
