Fanime, Day Two (with bonus juggle babble)
First of all,
Yesterday, for the briefest of moments, I felt it. I felt what it would be to make those darn clubs cooperate with me.
Since envirion mentioned wondering how the juggling was going, I resolved to get out of the too-hot house and juggle for at least an hour. I haven't really, especially with the clubs, since before I left for my trip. New park, but still discouragingly windy, as usual. Drifting clubs and lack of practice meant it took quite a while for me to get warmed up, but I feel like I diagnosed a lot of problems! The light at the end of the proverbial tunnel is still distant, but I'm beginning to think I can see it.
I noticed that even when I could get going, once I'd done four throws, my hand would stick because that's usually when I catch all the clubs and stop (if I make it that far). So I forced myself to keep throwing until I'd dropped all of them. Just like when I was learning to juggle balls, I found myself walking forward chasing pins, but by the end I could throw them a little more reliably, and even really got going a couple of times! Once, just once, I got to the point that I hardly felt them anchor in my hands, and hit a rhythm that it felt like I could keep up. Not long-lived, but it's the best I've done so far. *_*~ I AM SO EXCITED. And so happy that I went out and practiced~<3
The other thing I'm trying to learn to do is fix my mistakes once the clubs are in the air. Thus far, I can only really make multiple throws if all my throws are perfect. But that's not something you can keep up. At least, not if you're me. So just like with the balls, I have to learn to adjust once they've left my hands. Yeaaaaaah...^_^;
...As a complete aside, Lady Gaga makes the best juggling music.
...There was more stuff I was excited about but then I spent 45 minutes looking for my landlady's stupid address, which I could just call her to get if she wasn't an evil soul-sucking demon. UGGGGGH. But then, if she wasn't so unbearably unpleasant, I would have just e-mailed it to myself long ago and I wouldn't have this problem...but I can't stand the thought of anything related to her archived in my mailbox. Eww.

05/29: Fanime, Day Two - Birth by Sleep
(Warning: here be spoilers? I won't even know what to warn you about so just watch out, they're undoubtedly there.)
Painted keyblades in the morning, then had to work on getting dressed until 45 minutes into the meet, at which point the tiny number of people who knew of Birth by Sleep were apparently done with it, because nobody was particularly excited to see us, LOL. (Apparently, needed a gimmick already? ^_^; ) But whatev', as is our wont we left the meet almost as soon as we got there and played around behind some wall nearby. ^_^; At least the one other Aqua was happy to see us...^_^;;;
In the name of the---er...
Terra, rockin' the now-smaller-but-still-huge pants.
Ventus vs. Roy Mustang Xion! (Or however you spell that...I've only ever heard the wife say it out loud. ^_^; But she has a black coat, so it must have an 'X' in it. Does that mean her real name was 'Ion'? Chemistrophic!)

...We actually went to the Masquerade, again, which was pretty awesome (but I think last year still won~). Afterwards, met up with friends for some mac 'n cheese and bad television before...passing out again.
(Actually, I stayed up into the dead of night watching scary programming about bed bugs with Bill (zomg THANK YOU BILL, srsly) and sewing on snaps, and then passed out. LOLZ~ But DGM was ACTUALLY ready to be put on in the morning. >_>;;; Well, mostly.)
...Also, everyone please please please think happy positive Japan-going thoughts for us...I AM SO NERVOUS. O_o;
