There was a fabulous teal deer here, but I think I'm going to relocate him to his own fabulous nature preserve because man, as much as I hate posting twice in one day, it was getting a bit long. So, the (hopefully?) interesting bit gets to be all alone for once. HERE GOES~

So many cool pictures! Oh wow, I'm just...I love seeing cosplay pictures, I really do. I've never cosplayed, but you know...someday, I might actually have to try it. When I can afford it. LOL. But these are just brilliant, and so many people did such a great job. You look great as Kanda!

You should totally cosplay~! Start in your closet and work from there. You'd be surprised how much stuff you already have!

Anyhow, these shots are seriously awesome, and those costumes are seriously awesome. I've always thought the black and white uniforms looked really cool, but I'd never seen the red and black ones before. You guys seriously rock them. 8D I want to join your organization so I can be stylish toooo~ :P

I agree, I do so love the black and white, but...oh man, the red. Actually, I'm lucky they look cool, because that's the only reason Roy and the Wife hopped on board so easily, LOL~

...Also, DGM is in the middle of a REALLY GOOD ARC right now, so you should totally read it<3

Yeah, you've convinced me. D: I started reading it, but I'm only on chapter 29. orz this is going to take fooreeeveeer (what's more terrifying is that it's entirely plausible that it wont, as it will probably devour my life until I'm caught up).

But yeah. It's really shiny so far and omg Miranda's going to come back at some point I'm stupidly excited about that for some reason. :D;

I remember thinking v2 uniforms were very cool but looked very uncomfortable. Plus they also looked quite unforgiving. Then Hoshino-sensei came up with the elegant black and red v3 uniforms and I really wanted to do the cosplay. I dithered for a year until finally getting brave enough doing it (not to mention promising my daughter I would!). :P

I wish my friends here in SF were into anime and cosplay. I need to redo the v3 uniform as it's not really fitting well but it's hard to tailor stuff to myself. I'm much better sewing other people's costumes! LOL.

Right?! Way easier to fit other people. I have a dress form, but it isn't quite the same.

And maaaaaan, those v2 uniforms ARE a pain, with all those white lines. Especially the curves on the top of the arms. Bias tape does NOT like that. >_<;
