Fanime, Day Three (part two)
It's been so long since I've had so much cut out that I ran out of pins and had to start unpinning pieces in order to pin the rest. O_o; But then, that's what I get for deciding I needed to use all eight yards of black fabric before I could go buy more stuff?

The lavender one has 10 yards of taffeta simply gathered around the waist so it didn't need petticoats, just a hoop underneath. The red gown has both a ruffled petticoat and a hoop. You can't really see in the pic but the red one also has a fringe I made of red bugle beads with smaller red and gold glass beads all around the neckline under the lace. It made a tiny little tinkly (sp?) sound when I danced. :)

That sounds amazing. And you're fantastic if you can dance in a hoop skirt, we had the hardest time with those the one time we tried them!
