http://aceattorney.wikia.com/wiki/Lana_Skye Personality:Lana Skye, though on the outside quiet and ridged, is a kind and loving woman. There's nothing in the world she loves and cares for more than her little sister, Ema Skye, particularly because Ema is also her only living family.
During her years as a detective, Lana was one of the most loved people on all the police force. She was kind and considerate--always smiling. Many of the other detectives looked up to her and respected her authority as a person. She was an ace detective at the time, and dedicated to her job.
Though, after the SL-9 incident, Lana took a turn for the worse. After foraging evidence with the assistance of Damon Gant, she was forced to be his unquestioning follower. Because of this unfortunate event, Lana chose to with draw herself from society, becoming quiet and closed in general. Many people grew to resent her for her sudden change in persona, and in the end lost much of good relationships with the department.
Even though that, she still cared greatly about her sister, and though a bit colder now, dedicated herself to protecting Ema from the unfortunate past of SL-9. She's a determined woman when it comes to protecting her sister.
What your character can offer: Lana is an excellent prosecutor, and ex-detective.

Third-Person Sample:
This...
It couldn't be happening; not now, not today... of all the days in the world, why today? They... were going to go out to dinner.
Lana pushed heavily on the doorknob in her left hand, trying to keep herself from collapsing. Her eyes were dead set on a single body in the middle of the floor--Darke, the serial killer they were putting on trial. How... how did he get up here? She rushed forward to check his pulse (alive... she didn't know if to be glad or feel spite), then glanced all around.
"Ema! Ema?" As she moved away, she drew out a flashlight, moving it left and right, looking for her little sister. She had to be safe, she had to be alive, what else would she--
The flashlight hit the floor, flicking off. Outside the the flash of lighting flickered like a camera, photographing and embedding the scene into her mind.
She turned around, seeing Ema lay on the floor behind her in the flash of light, then back at the window. Ema... she couldn't have done this.
Picking the flashlight back up, she turned it on... and unsure of herself, moved towards the window. The strange image of a knight in shining armour holding some sort of prize on his blade. She didn't raise the light to see this prize at first, instead stared at the vase shattered on the floor. Anxiety filled her bosom, and she bit her thumb slightly. The... prize... it couldn't be...
But it was, and upon recognizing the face, she bit the skin of her thumb, tasting the blood and feeling it run down her hand. Neil Marshall--her friend... and Jake's brother--now hung skewered on the knight's sword.
Could--She looked back on Ema, horror filling her mind. Could Ema have done this on accident? She knew how prosecutors were, and she knew what sort of tests Ema would be put up to during her testimonies... If there were evidence that she could have been a factor in this death... could Ema be made a criminal?
But what about the repercussions? Was protecting Ema worth putting her entire job at risk?
She turned back to the corpse of her friend, digging a camera out of her pocket, quickly took a picture of the scene, and buried the memory into her pocket. She then leaned down and quickly began to clean off the jar, taking care not to leave her fingerprints on it, or any of the remaining blood stains.
"Lana." She turned, eyes wide, staring up, holding the jar in her shaking hands. Down came her partner's gaze, looking as it did when something wasn't.... quite right. Dropping the shattered vase, she stood at attention, but... had no words for the situation.
She'd screwed up... already she knew what would--
Gant, after a long pause, cut of that feeling of dread. "You're doing this for your sister, aren't you?"
Lana paused, then cast her eyes solemnly to the side. Thunder snaps broke the silence to the point it became like white noise. "Yes..."
The pause went on, and at his voice, Lana stood stunned: "I can help."
First-Person Sample:
[Rising, she taps a small stack of papers on her desk.] I'm glad you could make it, Miles. The list of evidence for your case was just faxed over--here. [She slides the papers across the table, and her right hand retreats to her back once more]
Additionally, I'd like if you took the time to re-research your case from early last week. We belive it might have something to do with an upcoming case, and would greatly appreciate it.
That's all. Thank you.
