We've got magic, but I don't use it. I just kill shit.

What's the magic of your world like?

Depends. We've got mages who can summon food and water outta nowhere, blow things apart with fire, freeze things, transform people into animals, use fireballs or arcane energy to hurt people or freeze thing.

We've got shamans who commune with the spirits and use th' elements to heal or deal damage.

Druids are similar to them.

Uh, warlocks use fel and shadow magic, which involves burnin' and corrupting things, causing pain, sucking out people's souls, summoning demons, that kinda thing.

Priests use the Light and Shadow to heal and defend themselves. Paladins just use the light. And Light hurts undead like me or demons pretty bad. Nasty shit, lemme tell you. Burns like a motherfucker.

Shit, I oughta share my experiences in the Scourge with you some day. Lemme tell you, being a member of undead army ain't all it's cracked up t'be, 'specially when you're a mindslave.

[Those things didn't sound too dissimilar to Kate. Some people called demonic priests "warlocks", and some people called nature priests "druids", and some people called wild priests "shaman". The names were all familiar.]
