We... do nothing, really. But it is a tradition to name your children after deceased family members. I suppose that is one shared by many cultures, however.

[Kate, in a bright green dress, sat with her guitar on the stage. If she had thought this through, she'd be in a white dress or something more fitting of a memorial. It was sort of spur of the moment. She was quietly working on a tune, trying to find one that wasn't saddening, something to stir up good memories instead of bad ones.]
