Aw, don't give up on humanity just yet. You know I believe in personal spirituality instead of organized practice, but there are still the true moral and spiritual effects that remain universal, no matter who you are or what you believe.

Humanity is not lost as long as you remain true to yourself; you can be true "in the world" and would do much more good as a stone standing still in a rushing torent for others to cling to rather than standing calmly on the edge watching them lose.

I realize you think we're different in personal creed, but know some truths are apparent to all faiths.

I agree with Mika. You may get downhearted when people (or a certian person) don't listen to your perfectly valid advice. However, don't give up on the world yet. The world needs someone willing to help, and if you give up, who are those people going to turn to?

I used to despise you, but after a post like that i can't help but both agree and respect you. I live in midtown atlanta. Sometimes i feel so much like lot, and it scares me. Being surrounded by evil, it is soooooo difficult to be upright for the lord. I sometimes feel like i have offered my daughters to save my angels (for those not familiar with the story, think "cutting off my arm to save my leg")
sigh, sad when a guy in a small town and a guy in a big city both agree this world is going to hell on it's own decadance.
