Circumstances without Pomp... is there any better way to put it?

Mar. 9th was my last update?!?
3 months later and I doubt anyone will see this post (much less comment). Anyway, most of what has happened in the past few months has not been something I wanted to chat about or expose to everyone. If you want to read a full account, follow the link.

I lost my grievance against the professor at UA. It's weird how one man can completely shatter your confidence and view on your future. For anyone interested, the professor is KEN McGUIRE. If you're an education major, you'll probably see him at one time or another. Anyway, his 'qualitative' assessment of my elem. teaching means that I'll have to go through rememdial in the first half of the fall and then redo my elem. internship.
Obviously, this screwed up a lot of stuff in the past few months. Such as:
  • I had to scramble today to find a place to live while I'm at school this fall.
  • I am recieving ZERO in financial aid for this summer and this coming fall, b/c I've "exceeded the amount of time to get a Bachelor's Degree" as stated by UA Financial Aid.
  • My health insurance becomes MINE on Oct. 1st. So, we had to scramble to find an insurance that will cover me while I'm a student and earning no reasonable amount of income.
  • My friends in Music Ed. have moved on to Grad. school and jobs and I'm left behind.
  • The whole affair has led me to distrust people at UA. I'm not seeing many people here who are actually doing what they said they would do.
  • Worst of all, I had to complete my secondary internship (where I made a B+) knowing that I wasn't going to graduate. That completely ruined an otherwise VERY enjoyable experience at Oak Mountain Middle School.

Really, I just wanted to let everyone know that I AM still breathing and I'm in Ttown all summer taking classes and working. This summer, I'm finishing up my CPU Info. Tech. minor and taking Dr. O's Marching Band Tech. class (YAY!!!). I'm also working in the Sporting Goods section in the Northport WAl-Mart. (They had to put me in the back, b/c I'd be bombarded with women if I were in a highly public area. That and I know how to sell guns, licenses, and run a cash register.) I'm also living in the Wesley Center apartment. I lock up at night, turn out the lights, and fight off the mutant roaches in the kitchen (they must have migrated from Burke). If you want to contact me, I'm on AIM all the time b/c I don't have a landline for a phone here. Or, if you know my cell phone #, you can call in the afternoon or late at night.
