ideal scenario:

new years eve party @ someones house. let's call him squirrel. my parents are letting me stay since other girls are staying too. we're all just hanging out, having fun, doing wutever we want. i'm happy. enjoying myself. it hits midnight, we all scream, run around in the streets while a neighbor lights fireworks because they're cool like that. squirrel grabs my hand and jumps. we're flying. flying is fun. but it is very cold. so we flew to the bahamas. for whatever reason it hadn't gotten dark yet, so we watched the sunset and then flew back. 3 minutes had passed :D

That sounds delightful. Slightly reminiscent of Peter Pan haha. But nonetheless, a good scenario. Also makes for good metaphors for you and this here squirrel ;-)
