When people ask me what the main difference is about the post-Katrina New Orleans, my first answer is always "You can see the stars at night." I was at Bennachin last night, too! We must have just missed each other...Awww. Damn. I ate from about 7:30-8:30 with my friend Jessica Roberts. Then we went to see music. I'm guessing you came in right after we left?
Anyway. You're right about Cafe Rani. It's awesome. But they've never been into staying open for a late supper...They seem to close just as dinner hours peak. What the hell is that about? But they have tasty food.
I've never been to the Melting Pot. Actually, I have never been for fondue. I've made it but I've never been to a place that specializes in it. I keep telling myself that I'll try it when I have more money. Hmmmm...
Mmmm Sake Cafe. I love it.
