I'm reading the book "Loving Frank". It's a great read and I'm really enjoying it. Because it's based on real people and a true story, I'm finding it fascinating. I've always loved Frank Lloyd Wright and to read about what he was like as a person in Mamah's actual diary entries is a bit like peeking back in time (although the book is mostly ( Read more... )

I've got The Fellowship, but this book sounds good, too. I may have to read it.

Have I ever told you how much I envy you for living so close to Oak Park?

I'm so glad you commented. I can't tell you how many times I thought of you while reading this book. You have to read it!

I think you'd really enjoy reading about Mamah and her ideas. She was an amazing person that history seemed to erase. So sad.

In fact, you should read the book and then come and visit. We'll go on all the tours together.

When you are in Oak Park, take the tour of the his Unity Temple there. My god that is a beautiful building. And the Home and Studio tour. And the neighborhood walking tour!
