The asportual aspie male

I suspect aspies would be one group with a much higher than usual rate of asportuality. I'm certainly not interested, and with one exception, I can't recall knowing any other aspies who are. I agree; I don't know of any aspies who like sports...unless husband's nephew turns out to be an aspie. He loves playing hockey, baseball and soccer, and skis and sails and is a hardcore Red Sox and Patriots fan. He also builds amazingly complex and carefully thought out Star Wars legos and is quite obsessive and knowledgeable about Star Wars (I have ambitions to draw him over to better-quality SF...maybe it's time to get him My Teacher is an Alien and Have Spacesuit, Will Travel...)

edit/PS: I'm with you on figure skating, both the interest and the opinion. It's more akin to ballroom dancing and ballet, more than any sport IMHO.
