Let's see... As you mention tile and grout repair...

I have done some tilework (yay) but it was flat on the floor (entry). We had a soap dish fall off our tub. How would I go about making such a repair (asks I, Teh Lacking of Clue)?

hmmm.... if it's to stick to the underlayment, then you can buy a tube of tile adhesive and grout and stick it back on. add a generous amount of adhesive, stick it on, hold in place until it stays by itself, leave 3 days, grout, leave another 3 days before using.

If it was stuck on top of the tile... I'd try epoxy to stick it back on.

It looks like it was attached sorta to the tile and to the underlayer (which is I think why it came off). My gut said I might need to remove tile to fit and then readhese.

Or replace it with something that's designed to stick to the tile...
