Just before all this storm stuff came up, I acquired a large external hard drive to back up the content of the various machines around the house. Unfortunately I can't seem to get my machines to see it properly - probably something related to the wonky AT&T DSL router/modem I have. Other than gmail, I suggest something paid, because that's the way to get something you can bitch about. Short term, I'm trying Dropbox and if you have less than 2 GB of files, it's probably a good bet.

It says invite-only beta, but if you download it, you can probably make an account (that's what I did). If not, drop me an email ASAP and I'll get you a code.

I cannot recommend .Mac/.Me at this time.
