Obstruction of justice. Literally. You were called to jury duty and afterwards got into a heated conversation with a judge about some case. You were so busy devil's advocating and so interesting to the judge that he/she was late to the next docket.

I would assume you were on your way to police headquarters to help with a case or, perhaps, that a police person was being a good samaritan and giving you a ride home after your car got a flat.
