have just received first pay slip from next (only for one day but have foned them about that) but the tax man has taken almost £5 in tax!! it seems really high given that when i was earning £200 + a week they were taking like £30 my net pay was only £22.68 and they have taken £4.84 of that in bloody tax!! i will get it back cos i shuldn't pay tax ( Read more... )

am thoroughly enjoying the heat and the sun and sun bathing although i did get ants in my drink... not so fun but still!! roll on 97 on wed!!

finally employed! am going to be working in Next in sutton until i think it is the end of August btu not entirely sure .... tis strange cos i wanted a job and i am bored at home and i want something to do but now its kinda like they have offered it to me and i don't want it (obv i have taken it! but its just strange :S

job interview today.... was ok there were loads of people there tho who all fitted the next profile a lot better than i do so not holding out much hope and also i ahve holiday booked which they didn;t seem that bothered about but still... anyway we can only hope... making an improvement... being called for interviews is better than not being ( Read more... )
