Four Years Ago today, May 6th, 2006, I graduated from college and commissioned in the Air Force.

Since then, I've lived in Louisiana, Oklahoma, with extended stays in Mississippi and Alabama. Numberous road trips, storm chasing on the high plains, and countless memories have made the past 4 years of adult life pretty awesome.

i got a letter in the mail TODAY that was stamped march 24th from the Louisiana Department of Revenue saying i owe $600+ in back taxes, fees, and interest from 2007. if i don't pay in 30 days, they're sending me to a collection agency ( Read more... )

i got some interesting pieces of information today. i got my sponsorship package to afghanistan. and i also found out i'll be seeing the force shaping board this september.

so next year, i could either be in afghanistan or without a job. awesome.

This weekend was pretty awesome. I wasn't on standby, so I didn't hear the pager at all; and had a great drive to and back from the city. saw the movie The Crazies. and just overall had a good time. it was a nice relaxing weekend, and i can't wait for more ( Read more... )

took some vacation the past few days. celebrated Mardi Gras at a restaraunt called Bourbon Street Cafe. got some beads! woo hoo! and the best food i've had in a long time. place is awesome ( Read more... )

I drove down to the city yesterday. took me about 2.5 hours; when normally it takes me about 1.5 412 was full of snow; and i-35 had some pockets of crap on it too. but ultimately, was worth the trip. we got about 10 inches up in Enid. i didnt' feel like shoveling my entire driveway, so i just shoveled two tire tracks for my truck. haha. i hate ( Read more... )
