Friends only

I'm going to be completely honest.
I want friends who can talk about more things than what they did last weekend or what happened at school. I want people with substance, with real emotions. I want someone who is going to be intellectually stimulating. I want someone who is going to make me think. I also enjoy young people who are interested in politics. (I feel so alone) I'm not talking about the kind of politics you hear in Anti-Flag songs. I'm over that anarchist phase of my life.

Most of all I want a friend.

friend (frnd)
n.
A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.
A person whom one knows; an acquaintance.
A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade.
One who supports, sympathizes with, or patronizes a group, cause, or movement.

Add me if you wish, but don't get angry if I don't add you back.

(I may even turn down ‘friends’ from previous journals.)

Or maybe my standards are just too high.
