have you ever wanted to crawl under the covers on your bed and just hide from the world? you don't feel like you're good at anything, and you don't know where you're going, and if you're doing the right thing about anything, and if God is tryin to speak to you He can't be heard over the chaos in your head? and even if you could hear him, you wouldn ( Read more... )

i have most definitely. to the point where i questioned whether or not i was legitimately insane actually. i'm afraid i don't have a direct answer for you about what is going on. i can tell you that God is faithful, that Abraham, against all hope in hope believed. and he is known as a champion of the faith, the father of our faith in fact. anyway. i hope this offers some encouragement. don't let the confusion win, it is one thing that you can be sure is not true or good or lovely. it is therefore not worth the thoughts it jumbles.

i think God is maybe powerful
enough to do that. =)
something i continually need to be reminded of is that we are not our own. we don't belong to ourselves. if you humbly adopt the attitude of truly serving Jesus, then whatever you do will give glory to God, and that's really all that matters.
you seem to be intent on following
after God and though you may not recognize
the fruits right away, they are growing. continue to persevere and know that you are His.
James 1 is a great passage of scripture by the way.

the hand that made you is the hand that will never, ever leave you. don't be discouraged, babe.

p.s. - i was reading "peanuts" the comic strip the other day and came across this. it's pretty much adorable. from me to you, babe:

"are you upset, little friend? have you been lying awake worrying? well, don't worry...i'm here. the flood waters will recede, the famine will end, the sun will shine tomorrow, and i will always be here to take care of you."
