busy weekend.  frat party and Black Cat last night.  dancing, lots of dancing.  minimal drinking.  catching the last Metro back to campus.  eventually sleeping.

Wow, certainly busy weekend.

Glad you got to do quite a bit of dancing. And, yeah, sleeping, 'cause as much as I don't like to settle down to sleep, I know I have to. =P.

Wow! That anti-war rally/march sounds great. Happy that you got to go and enjoyed yourself.

Post-It-ing? Everything sounds very interesting. Squee.

Great to see so many protesting the status quo. It seems this country has turned into nothing but drones marching to someone elses beat, but their own. SELF-DETERMINATION seems to be a phantom of the past. I THINK the war protest was so neat!

They mentioned the rally at church a lot when we went out to ring the bell for more soldiers. I kept thinking, "Pashi was there! Pashi was there!"

I was there in Anacortes, Wa., (pop.13,000) with about 30 other anti-war protesters! The people that showed up were from all walks of life; young and old, veterens. A couple from the small island of Guemes, a 5 minute ferry ride from Anacortes "organized" the event. We met at Causland Park where food was provided and speeches and music relating to peace was heard. AT 2PM we marched with our signs, flags and tambourine to Commercial Avenue, the main drag in town to an intersection at 12th where we stood on the 4 street corners flashing peace signs and yelling slogans. We received much support from people driving by. I was at the peace rally during the run up to the war and this was different. There was very little non-support this time. A few people gave us the finger but the overwhelming majority honked and flashed peace signs with relish! I felt an overwhelming solidarity with the people of Anacortes and their support for getting out of Iraq. Next we'll be going north to Bellingham to march with a larger group on 9-21 for the ( ... )
