I just back from a little day trip to Takayama. Takayama is a lovely little town in the mountains of central(I guess?) Japan. It reminded me of a Japanese Leavenworth. My first time in a Japanese gym - big & clean. No shoes in the locker room. I was pretty nervous about my tatoos, but for some reason I didn't cover them up. Anyway, I was followed around by the super-helpful trainers/staff at the gym, and I know they saw my tatoos a couple of times, but thankfully they didn't say anything.
