love is watching someone die

ok well, after looking through the past 180 entries of my friends page (I guess it has been that long since I've looked) I've decided to just ask a few questions because I honestly want to see what you all think. my computer went crazy the other day, so no pictures, sorry ( Read more... )

1. THE MEANING of my existence is to simply find the meaning of my life, which I found already but refuse to let anyone know, in such cases that I should lose it and not be able to find it again ( ... )

Wow, that is cool to know how you already know the meaning of life. i'll take your word for it. so how is it? probably overhyped right...?
thatd be nice to read some of your kerouac reincarnate prose.
haha. thats a nice thought to think before you die. hopefully you'd be able to fully contemplate it though before you do.
you'll be a senior soon enough..and then get ready to start everything all over again.
that is so cool how you dream about the same house..i dont think ive ever done anything like that. they are doing things that shouldn't be done? you should see if you can lucid dream and go into all the rooms. thatd be awesome.
i wonder why tvs are called boob tubes. honestly i'd like to see them referred to as the "telly" again. things you dont say and wish you did, i hate worrying about that.
i'm glad you enjoyed this a lot. your painting sounds very complete, definitely.
i am more than ready for mr. Cash. i walk the line.

Indeed it IS overrated. It's so crazy joaquin; everyone takes so much for granted and we all live in these huge pools of contradictory stories and we're always trying to make ourselves look better than the rest, yet we're not, and it isn't just some 'equality belief' system, we make ourselves to make others feel inferior and really that's just plain uncomfortable. But we're all still learning, because if the journey was "completed" then I wouldn't exactly be here anymore, I'd be some other form of existence, perhaps in the form of death, rebirth, etc, who knows, you know?
& I'll let you read some of my writing, if you're ever interested. :)
"life in itself is a complete thing, a cycle that consumes itself only to reincarnate." Indeed.
Let's hang out joaquin, you're such a cool guy.

Thats so awesome, i definitely want to read your stuff.
it sounds like you are referring to a boddhisattva, the whole completed journey but still being around type thing. Sometimes i wonder if its truly possible to hit the ceiling of it all and become "enlightened" and all, because you always have to learn more and more, but maybe "enlightened" is just more of a realization of the truths of the world and what that entails for all sentient life. i dunno. does anyone truly?
and yes, life is a cycle of cycles, cycling together like a bicycle race cycling on a circular track with loops and corkscrews cycling and cycling forever. amen.
and yes, we are definitely hanging out soon. johnny cash, amen again.

why do i know that quote? pogothemonkey November 13 2005, 04:40:48 UTC
1 life is the greatest chance of events or phenomenon in general, that cannot be passed up in any way. life is the flame, and living is the infinite oxygen it eats. meaning, dont let life slip by, everything needs to be appreciated and achieved, life needs to be fulfilled however that may be accomplished, whether it be a personal search or something not obviously recognizeable to the mind. but the point being, life is a gift, and it needs to be completed. and basically, that is how i feel ( ... )

like those crazy statistics i told you (i think i did) about the possibility of the earth existing, civilization existing, humans existing, us existing and so on. it is just so hard to think of each moment as a gift, and to appreciate all the time given to us in a day. basically, total awareness is complicated and people spend their entire lives trying to reach that level of consciousness. maybe that is the enlightenment that monks seem to attain ( ... )
