His Raindance

I have no artistic nutrition. I hate feeling empty; It's a horrible feeling. I have no stories to tell.
Australian beaches are good for nothing but lust and postcards; and coffee looses flavour unless it's used in urgency- which the slow summer does not muster often.

luke i know that feeling oh so well. summer is fun, for going to the beach, and mucking about outside. but it doesnt really give kindling to times when you just want to dissapear inside your own mind. its harder to feel philosophical when the whole world is bouncing giant coloured beachballs at your head and you just want to imajine and create.
i find it easier in winter too pal, but never ever wish away your holidays. school is simply a glorified prison- dont sentence yourslef too early.

I would trade my Texas Hill Country for your postcard Australian beaches any day. There are times where I would do just about anything to get away from the Dairy Queens, the Super Wal-Marts, the Friday night football.

I miss Europe and the history, the culture, the people who didn’t have to be pretentious because they just knew they were better.
