Yesterday I ate at White Castle.

Already I've learned and done so much in terms of veterinary medicine and running a medical practice, it's fascinating stuff.  I'll follow up with more details later on, but I'm pretty tired, the hours are hectic, but it feels really good to heal and treat the sick.  I've been thinking alot about what I want to do, whether it's human or animal ( Read more... )

I dont know what you decided, but I dont think I'd be able to work on people, and thats ASIDE from my little seizure problem. too much emotional involvement from third parties.

I think if i can i'm gonna try to do the people bit, if i start up a practice after residency...the starting salary of 100k plus is a big incentive, I think if i do have any issues that after a while it'll become routine, I have that knack of being able to be detached and looking at things scientifically, which is so crucial.

the commute is about 45 minutes, it's not bad at all, though obviously it depends on traffic, usually we take the 3rd ave bridge and head down to 81st street and make it into the practice by then.

I guess it's a good thing I didn't buy EQ (yet). It seems like you don't have time for much of anything, let alone being on-line (unless that's because you don't have an internet connection down there yet). I'm still thinking about buying it anyway (maybe EQ2 as well, since I think the computer I'm going to buy can handle it fairly well).

You coming back to Melrose at some point or this an indefinite thing now?
