your humor style:
CLEAN | SPONTANEOUS | DARK
Your humor's mostly innocent and off-the-cuff, but somehow there's something slightly menacing about you. Part of your humor is making people a little uncomfortable, even if the things you say aren't in and of themselves confrontational. You probably have a very dry delivery, or are seriously over-the-top. Your type is the most likely to appreciate a good insult and/or broken bone and/or very very fat person dancing.

Ok Cupid I hate moving. Why do I do it so much? I'm all moved out of Scooniehill rd and back to Scouseland briefly. For posterity, and maybe interest, here's an itinerary of my holidays:
Wednesday 27th July, midnight - Go to
Cambridge Folk FestivalSunday 31st July - Back to Liverpool
Thursday 4th August - Go to
Paimpol Fete Du Chant De Marin (which I'm playing at)
Monday 8th August - Back to Liverpool
Friday 19th August - Go to
Whitby Folk Week (which I'm stewarding at)
Saturday 27th August - Back to Liverpool
Thursday 1st September - Go to France (again!)
Saturday 17th September - Back from France
Monday 19th September - Fresher's week starts
I'm considering in the gap between the 8th and 19th August going to Glasgow for the visitation of Rev, Danny and Steven and then popping over to St Andrews to fleece the tourists for all their money (busking). Its not a bad job actually, I've been making on average about £20-£25 an hour, which is better wages than most people I know! However I can only do it for an hour or so at a time when my muscles cease to function, and I can't usually be bothered playing more than one session per day. Still, £25 a day is not to be sneezed at.
So, I'm looking for enough encouragement/excuses to make it worthwhile for me to come up to Scotland in August. So far I have:
- Seeing friends in St Andrews
- Busking in St Andrews
- Seeing friends in Glasgow
- Not sitting on my arse being bored in Liverpool since all my friends have jobs/ have gone to Germany
But against it there's:
- I hate travelling and already seem to be doing an awful lot of it
- Train fare costs quite a bit (although an hour and half of busking makes that money back)
- It would be the only time I have in the holidays to sit on my arse and do nothing - one of my favourite occupations
- I don't actually have anywhere to live in St Andrews so I'd have to impose on people
I can think of counter-arguments to all of the negative points, any more would be welcome :)
Okey doke. I'd better get on with unpacking and repacking for Cambridge, assembling a wardrobe, sewing turn ups (not turnips) on my jeans etc.
