Cool shops in Glasgow

I'm going for a birthday shopping spree and I reckoned Glasgow would be the best place within driving distance for cool, 'alternative' clothes shops. Can anyone tell me where they are

Out the back of the St Enoch centre and straight through the car parks. Keep walking and you should hit a little curve of shops facing you, Cyber on one end and a cafe called Mono on the other. There's only a few shops there, but they tend to cover a pretty decent range of 'alternative'wear.
