Let's hope it fares better than his music festivals. :)

We used to have WonderCon (basically SDCC North) in San Fran 'til they took their ball and left for Anaheim, the jerks.

There's also Big Wow ComicFest at the San Jose Convention Center this weekend, but that's small fry in comparison.

SDCC is just impossible anymore...every hotel room in the city runs out in minutes, huge price gouging, etc.

Supposedly BigWow is being rolled into this new SVCC next year. I've got my hopes this one pans out. :)

WonderCon didn't take their ball and leave, they were forced out by Mosconi Center reconstruction and wanted to come back. Alas, politics kept them from coming back. All the hotels complained that they did not bring in enough room nights and was "bad for business". I hate San Fran Politics. ~.~
