I've been accepted into the Architecture program as a freshman for fall 2005 at Tulane. & coming down to the May 1st wire, I'm stuck between Tulane & Pratt. Can anyone give me some more insight into Tulane's program?

i'd go to pratt but that's b/c of the location. tulane has a good architecture school and provides you w/a liberal arts escape if you want to.

i have a lot of friends who are in architecture and are freshmen if you want to talk to them. I know that the program at Tulane is insane. But that is simply my opinion as an outsider.

I know that Architecture is a stressful but rewarding program. people who are into architecture, love it. I had a couple of friends switch into liberal arts b/c arch just wasn't for them. I'm not sure how much you know about the generalities of the program... but 5 yr program. architecture courses plus some other liberal arts classes. one of my best friends here takes studio, structures, philosophy and a few other things... Tulane is just a great place to study architecture in general due to the Spanish and French influences in the Quarter. students in the program often take field trips into the downtown area of the city to study the buildings. New Orleans provides a great environment to study architecture.
