It's tricky to make her work through it! Because she's so not the type to talk about her problems. Hopefully the next chapter does our girl some justice.

That was so quick! I thought you were still in the draft stage! Lol.

Oh Kara, bb. Such hard work, but ultimately worth it. I was so glad she got to see Seph. Nice to see Bill so patient with her as well.

Guh, it's so hard! To make Kara work through shit without losing her as a character and making it OOC. I still worry that some of the stuff with Seph is OOC...

Wonderful chapter! I am loving everything about this story. The scene with Seph in the brig was amazing and heartbreaking (oh gosh, when she started crying at the end?), but I also really appreciated the scenes with the doctor.

It's hard to write Kara crying realistically, I feel! It's so hard! I'm really enjoying writing the interaction with the doc! There is more of that to come.

Oh! So excited once I say you had updated!
Your characterization of Kara seems spot on. I like the approach you have Stoffa taking with her. And the bits of flashback just make the trauma seem more immediate.

Glad you had Adama bring Seph to visit. At least he could see for himself their bond and get maybe a more sympathetic take on Kara's condition.

More soon, Please!!

I'm so glad that Kara got to see Seph, sweet and sad.

And I loved the connection between Kara and pain when she and Stoffa went to the gym for their session. As though she's punishing herself for her helplessness and trauma. Really great.

Kara's the kind of person who really needs a physical release... when I was thinking about how having a child would effect the NC arc, I realized that she probably would not get even that small control of being able to kill Leoben without repercussions. So she has all this pent up... physical need to hurt.

What a great thought about how having a child would change Kara's incarceration. Very clever. :D
