trip meeting

Feb 06, 2009 21:44

I just wrote my first ever cheque on my first ever chequebook for my first ever trip to China and Japan.

It's like it's really happening now.

W00t!

I also got my first ever credit card so if I need more cash on the trip I can get it.

It's like I'm a grown-up or something.

weird.

I still don't own one of those. Or a fridge. Sharing a flat is good.

It is, isn't it. Funny what makes you feel like a grown up. I had to get a new fridge a couple of months ago, and this time I bought one over the internet sight unseen. I figured it's cheap, it's a fridge, what the heck.

You're not on fire, right?

Not currently.

There was a bookshop on fire down the street from my flat - but it was only their airconditioning bursting into flames because it couldn't handle the 43+ degree heat 4 days in a row. I don't think the books got burnt.

And all my favourite horse riding places escaped unscathed.
